FMS Group

FMS Group companies are among the most experienced technology partners not only in Latvia but also in the Baltic countries. The unique experience gained in more than 15 years of developing, implementing and supporting financial and business management IT systems of companies and organisations in the public and private sectors serve as a  proof  of being reliable and knowledgeable advisor to our clients.

Our mission is to help clients to know better and manage more efficiently their business. This has been our mission statement since the very beginnings of our company in 1991 when the first version of accounting software Apvarsnis  was developed.

FMS Software: software developer

To accommodate growing needs of our clients and to expand the FMS 's supply range the functionality of former accounting software Apvarsnis has been extended to make it suitable also for the multifaceted resource management needs of international companies. The product with brand name Horizon in Latvian, English, Lithuanian and Estonian is implemented for the clients in all the Baltic countries. All in all the system has more than 1600 clients in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia with a total number of users of more than 20 000. Further development and improvement of this IT product is a core business of one of the FMS Group companies – FMS Software, Ltd.

FMS: IT project manager, consultancy

The second – FMS, Ltd. is a company offering IT project management, financial and accounting consulting. More than 30 consultants  every day give advice to our customers in different technology projects consulting not only about our own developed software but also offering solutions of our partners – the world leading data analyses tool MicroStrategy and a geographical information system for local governments TEKLA Xcity.

There are more than 135 employees working in the FMS Group companies. The consolidated turnover in the financial year of 2006/07 was 5.3 million LVL.
